A platform born from Nigerian healthcare realities.
CareGrid was founded in Enugu, Nigeria, after watching the same pattern repeat across facilities — from University of Nigeria Teaching Hospital to private clinics in Lagos and Abuja. Staff dutifully photograph fire extinguishers, oxygen gauges, and hygiene stations during routine walkthroughs, and those photos disappear into a camera roll or a WhatsApp group, unreviewed.
We set out to build the layer that turns that existing habit into action — a vision model that reads what facility teams are already capturing, flags what needs attention, and routes it to the person who can fix it. No new hardware, no new habits — just the camera your team already carries.

Enemo Benjamin Chukwuemeka
CEO & FounderEnemo founded CareGrid with the conviction that every Nigerian healthcare facility deserves an AI that reads the inspection photos its team is already taking. His background spans healthcare operations, product development, and systems design across Nigeria's public and private health sectors. Under his leadership, CareGrid has grown from a pilot concept in Enugu to a working MVP piloting with facility operators across the country.
Chidi Obiora Nwosu
CTO & Co-FounderChidi leads CareGrid's technology and engineering, bringing over a decade of software architecture experience across fintech and healthtech in Nigeria and across West Africa. He previously built data infrastructure for a leading telemedicine platform serving patients in Lagos, Port Harcourt, and Kano. At CareGrid, Chidi oversees the cloud infrastructure, API integrations, and the computer vision pipeline that reads every inspection photo our pilot facilities upload.
